Abstract Submission

Only online abstract submissions will be accepted. Abstracts sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

Abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee. After the scientific committee has reviewed the papers, it will be decided to make oral or poster presentations. The results of the papers will be sent by e-mail.

Abstracts that have not been approved until the submission deadline will not be evaluated. It is not possible to make any revisions on the approved abstracts.

Authors must select one of three options related to presentation preferences: oral presentation, poster, oral presentation or poster. Only those presenters who select oral presentation should take into consideration that they will not be evaluated as posters if their abstracts were not accepted as oral presentations.

The author submitting the abstract is assumed to have accepted the approval of all authors whose names are included in the abstract. Correspondence related to the abstracts will be sent to all authors.
The following points should be considered while preparing the abstract.

The abstract should consist of “Title ”,“ Purpose”,“ Method ”,“ Results ”and “ Conclusion ” sections and the abstract should be recorded in the relevant box on each page.

The title of the abstract should be maximum 200 characters long (including spaces) and the abstract should be maximum 3000 characters long (including spaces). The title should reflect the content of the study and should be appealing to readers.

The Purpose section should state the aim of the study. In the Method section, the number of cases, clinical, diagnostic and experimental methods used should be clearly defined. Quantitative or qualitative data and statistical results should be given in the Results section. In Conclusion, the conclusions reached from the data obtained should be summarized and the study’s contribution to the scientific knowledge should be discussed.

The main text and title should not contain the identity and institution information of the authors.

If abbreviations are to be used in the abstract, it should be clearly stated in the abstract where it was first used.

The following issues are taken into consideration in the reviewer evaluations. Considering these points when submitting abstracts will increase the probability of acceptance:

The aim of the study is to be valid, relevant and coherent,
Sufficient number of cases / subjects,
The method used is comprehensible and reproducible by other researchers,
In the clinical study, it should be prospective with sufficient follow-up period, with control group,
The findings are clear and coherent,
Statistical evaluations have been made,
Accurate interpretation of available data,
Accurate and relevant conclusions,
The study enclosing new information / opinions
